The Smallest 3-D Printer in the World
Substantially smaller, lighter weight, and cheaper than the normal 3-D printer, the Vienna Technical University’s Micro Printer shows how – thanks to the rapid prototyping process – in the foreseeable future one will be able to create one’s own tailor-made objects at home out of sophisticated materials with various mechanical, optical, and thermal characteristics.
